Brown's Cheese Farm

Brown's has been making cheese on this Tigoni farm since 1979, and the tour takes families through the make-room and the ageing caves, past a cheese-making demonstration, to a tasting of their many varieties. Kids get the theatre of curds being cut and stirred, plus the bakery, gardens and farm animals around the property. Lunch is unhurried, fresh and mostly grown a few metres from the table.

Good to know: Tours are by advance booking only, and with the tasting and lunch it fills a half-day rather than an hour.
