Diamond Plaza II

4th Parklands Avenue, Nairobi Open daily

The top floors of Diamond Plaza II in Parklands hold one of Nairobi's largest indoor play arenas: trampolines, a jungle gym, climbing nets, bumper cars, bouncy castles, arcade games and a skating rink, all with the city skyline behind them. Badminton courts a couple of floors up suit older kids and parents who fancy a game. A big food court downstairs handles lunch.

Good to know: One ticket usually covers most of the play activities — ask at the counter exactly what it includes.

How a family visit works

  1. 1Park on 4th Parklands Avenue — street and basement both fill on weekends — and take the lifts to the top-floor play arena. Do not start at the food court or you will never go up.
  2. 2Ask at the counter exactly what one ticket covers. It usually includes most of the play: trampolines, jungle gym, climbing nets, bumper cars, bouncy castles, arcade and the skating rink. Confirm extras before the kids hear the word 'bumper cars'.
  3. 3If an older sibling is bored of bouncing, the badminton courts are a couple of floors off the arena — a different energy, same building.
  4. 4Food court is downstairs. Bathroom stop before you go up; the lifts get slow when the arena is busy.

What kids actually do here

  • Jump on trampolines with the city skyline behind the arena
  • Drive bumper cars and bounce in the castles
  • Climb nets and the jungle gym until arms give out
  • Skate if that is the one skill they actually wanted
  • Play badminton a few floors away when the play arena is too loud for a teenager
  • Arcade only after the physical stuff, or the coins vanish first

What to pack

  • Socks for trampolines and skating
  • A jumper; the top floor can be drafty
  • Small notes if the arcade is not on the main ticket
  • Patience for Parklands parking on Saturday

Parent questions

Is it one ticket or pay per ride?
Ask at the counter — one ticket usually covers most play, not always the arcade or courts. Outing sits in the KES 500–1,500 band; get the day's inclusions in writing on the ticket if you can.
Is Climb BlueSky in the same building?
Yes, a climbing gym on another floor of Diamond Plaza, but it is a separate venue with its own hours (it has been closed Sundays). Do not assume a play-arena ticket includes climbing. Open daily for the arena — still confirm last entry upstairs.

Hours, tickets and activity rules change. Confirm the current details on the official site or at the gate before you travel.
