Hell's Gate is one of the few Kenyan parks where you can safely cycle and walk among wildlife, since there are no large predators. Families pedal past zebras, giraffes and gazelles toward towering cliffs, then hike down into the dramatic gorge with its rock formations. The landscape famously helped inspire scenery in The Lion King.
Good to know: Hire bikes at the gate; carry water and good shoes for the gorge walk.
