Mlango Farm

Mlango Farm sits in the artists' village of Ngecha, under an hour from Nairobi, and is the best hands-on food outing near the city. On the guided tour children smell, taste and pick their way along the beds, filling a basket with lettuce, carrots, broccoli, herbs and whatever else is ready, and there are farm animals to feed and pet along the way. Lunch afterwards is cooked from the same garden and served outside.

How a family visit works
