Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary

The sanctuary is a fenced, managed corner of Ngong Road Forest with marked trails winding through indigenous woodland and stands of eucalyptus. It's a favourite for family walks, easy trail runs and beginner mountain biking, with birdlife, dik-dik and duiker for sharp-eyed children to spot. Being gated and patrolled, it's a comfortable place to let kids get ahead of you on the path.

Good to know: Trails can be muddy after rain — closed shoes for everyone, and bikes are more fun in the dry months.
