Nguuni Nature Sanctuary is a peaceful expanse of restored grassland near Bamburi, home to giraffes, ostriches, elands and oryx roaming freely. Families can walk the trails, picnic, and often feed the giraffes, with plenty of open space for kids to run. Its quiet, uncrowded feel makes it a lovely alternative to busier coast attractions.

Good to know: Late afternoon is cooler and the animals are more active — a good sundowner spot.
